TRANSMITTING SCIENCE poster award
 
         
 
 
Transmitting Science have awarded the best poster by a student in the category “innovative methodology”. The winner will receive a free course from the Transmitting Science course offer.
 
 
 
To be a candidate for this award, BSc, MSc and PhD students that present a poster were asked to fill a small questionary and used the (abobe) purple star award logo on, or next to their poster.

 EEF Ramon Margalef award
 
         
 
The European Ecological Federation have awarded the best oral presentation by an early career scientist in the field of theoretical ecology.
 
 
 
To be a candidate for this award, early career scientists that give a talk during the conference and registered as interested to compete, were asked to fill a questionary.

 Evolutionary Ecology awards
 
 
 
 
The journal Annals of Botany-PLANTS have awarded the best oral presentation and the two best posters within the session on evolutionary ecology in terrestrial, aquatic and marine environments.
 
 
 
All student posters and oral presentations within the session on evolutionary ecology in terrestrial, aquatic and marine environments competed automatically for these awards.

SIBECOL poster awards
 
 
 
 
The Iberian Ecological Society have awarded the best posters (first, second and third place) in the categories “original and clear science communication” and “scientific creativity and science innovation”.
 
 
 
All poster presenters competed automatically for these awards. The winners in the category “scientific creativity and science innovation” will be defined by public voting.
